I hold a BScH and a PhD from the University of Toronto and a MSc from Queen's University. I joined Queen's University in 1984. I am a Professor in the School of Computing and a Visiting Scientist with IBM's Centre for Advanced Studies.
I served as Associate Director of the School of Computing from 2002 to 2007 and Acting Director in 2004.
