The inaugural meeting of a new higher education (HE) association, Digital Scholarship Ontario (DSO), will be held on 21 August 2015 at Ryerson University, Toronto, as part of the Digital Pedagogy Institute: Improving the Student Experience (if you are interested in attending the Institute, you can register via the website: https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/conferences/dpi/
The DSO meeting will take place at the Peter Bronfman Learning Centre in Heaslip House (home of the Chang School of Continuing Education), 297 Victoria Street (building code CED on the Ryerson campus map: http://ryerson.ca/maps/ from 10:45AM-12:15PM, followed by a lunch featuring presentations on Digital Pedagogy and Scholarship at Ryerson (12:15-1:30) and a tour of Ryerson's new Student Learning Centre and Digital Media Experience Lab (1:30-2:45). The DSO's aim is to promote interdisciplinary scholarly and pedagogical collaboration across the digital humanities, digital media studies, and the digital arts in Ontario and beyond.
